Just two blocks away from the Western Addition Senior Center is the site of Rosa Parks Senior Residence and the Rosa Parks Senior Center. The center serves the seniors in building, as well as the community at large. The center is open five days a week with some special programs on weekends.

In October 2012, BHPMSS was able to expand services in the Western Addition at the newly renovated Rosa Parks Senior Center. Through a partnership with the S.F. Housing Authority and the S.F. Department of Aging and Adult Services, this center compliments the services offered at Western Addition Senior Center. Dorneshia Landers, Rosa Parks Senior Center Director, is working to bring more services and programs to this new site.
