Thank You For Your Support in Black Cuisine 2024!

For 44 years, we have carried on a tradition of celebrating and elevating Black culture and cuisine in Bayview Hunters Point through our annual Black Cuisine 2024 celebration. This year's theme, 'Back in Stride,' was an appropriate moniker for an event that was a resounding success as we surged forward with a feast of mouthwatering food, a bustling array of vendor booths, a symphony of thrilling live performances, a sizzling cooking contest, and a heartwarming community turnout.

Bayview Hunters Point Multipurpose Senior Center (aka Bayview Senior Services) was founded in 1971 to respond to the needs of seniors and disabled people by helping them to age in place with dignity, honor & respect. From the start, our organization has continuously supported seniors who have survived institutional racism at the root of inequities in health, education, employment, disproportionate incarceration rates, and housing instability.
