Event: “Where Generations Come Home”
Date and Time: Friday, March 25th 4pm -6pm
Location: Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center ( Court Yard)
Attendance: Free event but you must RSVP to: william.rhodes@bhpmss.org no later than 3/18/22 ( We only have 40 guest spaces available).
Requirements: You must show proof of vaccination to attend the event.
Project Partners: This project is a collaboration between. The Intergenerational Program at Bayview Senior Services, SF Urban Film Fest, Studios of Key West and the Bahama Village Music Program.
Details: There will be live music performance by Lorerrta Gooden who is a Dr. GWD resident. There will be several short films shown and refreshments will be served. The event will conclude with a panel discussion between artist William Rhodes and Kawana Staffney -Ashe who is the Executive Director of the Bahama Village Music Program in Key West, FL. Both panelists will talk and answer questions about how the arts and Intergenerational exchange can preserve a community suffering from gentrification and displacement.
