Aging Campus

“Relentlessness – Hope – Strategic Thinking – Passion – Persistence”

Democratic Leader of the House of Representatives,
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi

“George had the heart of a saint, the vision of a prophet, and the determination of a warrior and what he was always fighting for was to make sure that our mothers, our fathers, our grandparents, and our great-grandparents would live their later years with dignity, respect, and grace.”

State Senator, Mark Leno, Senate District 11

The long-term vision for the Aging Campus is a community-based continuum of services provided by BHPMSS, Inc. other non-profits, government agencies, and private businesses. The vision is holistic — one that includes the coordination of health care services, financial services, recreation facilities and economic ventures so that seniors can “age in place.”

BHPMSS has worked with community and government leaders for the past 20 years to create a comprehensive and integrated system of housing and services for current and future senior residents of Bayview Hunter’s Point.

Currently BHPMSS is developing supportive housing and senior services at 1751 Carroll with its development partner with McCormack, Baron, Salazar.

With support from the former San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (OCII) and the Mayor’s Office of Housing the land was purchased and development funding secured.

Construction began in April 2014 and is scheduled to complete in December 2015, 121 housing units of housing and 15,000  square foot space  for senior services
